About M & Me
MaryAianne & Me is an emerging independent AI-assisted music artist project created through the collaboration of songwriter Maryanne and music manager and co-songwriter John Hewlett, released through the independent label ITZAFUNI. The project combines original songwriting, contemporary AI-assisted production and a wide-ranging musical style, moving between pop, country, rock, ballads and more experimental sounds.
Since beginning its release campaign in 2025, MaryAianne & Me has built a growing international audience, with music available across major streaming platforms. The project has received radio exposure internationally, including airplay on UbuntuFM Jazz Radio, America, South Africa, Canada, UK, Australia, etc..., while several releases have achieved No. 1 positions on CHBN Radio’s The Playlist chart in the UK. Checkmate, I’ll Find The Light and Ocean Motion have all been highlighted as No. 1 charting releases on CHBN.
The project has also received positive coverage from independent music publication New Lease Music, which has featured MaryAianne & Me repeatedly as its Song of the Day and reviewed releases including Lucky Escape, Benched and I’ll Find The Light. Reviews have praised the project’s emotional honesty, storytelling and willingness to experiment across different musical styles.
MaryAianne & Me has been featured in interviews and music-focused editorial coverage as an innovative independent project using AI as a creative production tool while retaining original human songwriting at its core. The Save the World Club serves as a beautiful, inclusive haven for all, committed to uplifting diverse communities through their tireless daily food distribution efforts across numerous neighborhoods. On any given day, you will find their managed warehouse buzzing with energy as volunteers sort through fresh produce to provide essential nutrition, while their community retail sales and thoughtful donations breathe life into local support systems. The atmosphere is defined by a friendly, welcoming vibe where every individual is greeted like family, fostering a sense of belonging that is truly rare. On a deeply personal level, this organization acted as a steadfast anchor for me during my darkest moments of grief and mental health struggles; their unwavering compassion and guidance were the very catalysts for my transformation into the resilient, self-assured, and empowered woman I feel proud to be today. This supportive environment directly fueled my creative rebirth, giving me the emotional strength to pour my heart into my journey of music and writing, and for that, I am forever grateful.
The charity has a studio located inside their warehouse, where a few of my friends who volunteer there – and are talented musicians – gather every Friday. (You can see more about this on the Project Showcase page.) I tend to join them every now and then to jam for fun, whether it’s singing or playing an instrument. It doesn’t matter if everything is perfectly in key, because music brings me so much joy, and I love putting lyrics to instruments on the spot. Right now, I’m writing lyrics for a friend’s music. Even though I can’t yet play an instrument, I know I have that musical spark and the potential to produce. I’m learning and growing all the time, and thanks to Save the World Club I’m able to use the studio whenever I need – whether that’s for vocal recording, singing lessons, or just getting together with friends to make music and have a laugh. STWC has been a great charity for caring, loving and supporting me through my music journey and understanding the use of Ai. John Hewlett (see below) is also the main trusted food volunteer that I do food deliveries with every Wednesday and Saturday evening 7pm-12am
Meet the Team
As Manager and Co-Songwriter of MaryAianne & me, John plays a central role in shaping and developing the project. John co-writes the lyrics , oversee the creative and strategic direction, and manage the project’s development and day-to-day operations. John also created the AI artist name, MaryAianne & me, and lead the vision behind the project through our independent label, ITZAFUNI. John Hewlett managed the band Sparks — themselves admirers of John's Children — in the mid-1970s.

MaryAianne & Me is an AI artist project created and led by me. Maryanne work's as the project’s lyricist and creative director, writing and developing the songs while also designing the visual artwork and creative identity behind the music. Maryanne has overcome many, many challenges in her life and is beginning to heal from those things, whilst still having bad days. Maryanne personally created the project’s website and oversee its overall artistic direction, bringing together music, storytelling, visual design and AI to create a distinctive artist persona and creative world.
Tim Debney
Mastering Engineer
Here Tim engineered for many of the top selling acts of the 1990’s and also many classic bands from previous decades in all musical genres from Rock, Pop, R&B, Soul and Dance to Classical and Jazz. This, Tim believes, gave a good base for understanding how differing genres of music should be mixed and balanced and would prove invaluable to his future mastering career. It was at the ‘Townhouse’ that Tim’s mastering career really took off and he was soon mastering for Major labels such as Mercury, EMI, Parlophone, Sony-BMG, Island Records, including recent albums and singles by artists such as Lily Allen, The Charlatans, Kasabian, The Fratellis, Keane, Orson and Sandi Thom.

Chloe provides social media promotion and music exposure for MaryAianne & Me, helping to increase their visibility and connect their music with new audiences. Chole promote their songs, releases, and artist profile across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Instagram, with the goal of reaching new listeners, building awareness, and supporting the artist’s growth through consistent social media promotion.
